  WHAT HAPPENED?

  The Red Dragons are set to face Bournemouth and Chelsea on the west coast, before then heading to the home town of Hollywood co-owner Ryan Reynolds for a meeting with MLS side the Vancouver Whitecaps. Prolific striker Mullin will play no part in those fixtures after undergoing surgery.

  The sight of Lee being forced out of a friendly date with non-league outfit Hanley Town suggested that he may also struggle to make an eagerly-anticipated trip across the Atlantic. The all-action midfielder was left nursing a thigh strain in a convincing 5-1 victory for Phil Parkinson’s side.

  WHAT PARKINSON SAID

  Parkinson has sought to ease those fitness concerns, telling that Lee’s ailment is “nothing serious”. The 29-year-old will be on the plane to the States, along with Tom O'Connor, Lewis Brunt, Will Boyle and Jacob Mendy – who have also been nursing knocks.
